Prior to starting Renova Real Estate, Abel led a team of commercial and residential agents in the U.S., Mexico, Canada and Portugal. Much of Abel’s background lies in corporate real estate buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties, running syndications, and the development of build-to-suit opportunities for credit tenants. Because of the strong relationships that he built with his corporate clients, his business naturally evolved to selling residential properties to many of his past commercial clients and beyond.

Abel's clients range from top CEOs to custom home builders, and also include investors from all over the world. With a multidimensional background, Abel brings extensive knowledge to the industry and a unique perspective to analyzing luxury real estate in the Vail Valley.

Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Abel’s first language was Spanish followed by English. He was a full-ride scholar receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the LEEDS School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he double-majored in Operations and Real Estate. In his spare time, he is a passionate musician, a pilot, and a car aficionado but is likely on the farm with his daughter Camila and son, Abel III.
